I am working at making this a bit more informative.
This was the only passenger boarding bridge used on September 11th, 2001 that I was able to watch as it was transported, removed from the trucks and scrapped in late 2008.
It wasn't until the truck drivers had dropped off the load and were watching it be cut into pieces, that they were informed of the specifics of the bridge they had just transported.

ReplyDeleteIts nice to see that at least American Airlines got rid of that bridge. some interesting equipment used in the videos to destroy it.
